Paige Moore

Rosie & Biff: Rosie & Biff are a husband/wife duo based in Boise, Idaho. They make family music to encourage children to appreciate the world around them and think creatively. They’re inspired by their own kids, nature, children’s literature and the goodness of people. For updates and more info on their debut album, visit them at rosieandbiff.com

Paige Moore: Paige grew up performing at Boise Music Week School Night events and attending Boise Music Week musical productions. She is honored to be a part of the Boise Music Week family by bringing music experiences to the youngest musicians. She presents “Music Adventures with Paige Moore” at local libraries, and teaches Let’s Play Music in her home studio. Special thanks to her nephew and nieces Crew, Kaya, Alora, and Liberty, as well as Eliza and her mom Miss Mel for helping make these music experiences!

Exploring Classical Music: Miss Paige and Eliza, along with Eliza’s mom Mel, share a classical music puppet show from Let’s Play Music based on George Bizet’s “Aragonaise” from the opera Carmen. Let’s Play Music is a 3-year curriculum starting when students are 4, 5, or 6. In addition to chord theory and keyboard skills, Let’s Play Music fosters an understanding of classical music. Print your own puppets from www.letsplaymusicsite.com by choosing “Free Downloads” from the drop-down menu. The Magical Lamp puppets are the second to last on the list, so scroll to the bottom!

Exploring Percussion Instruments: Miss Paige, with the help of Kaya, Alora, Crew, and Liberty, investigates various percussion instruments and how to replicate them with household objects. They close the experience by singing a song and reading a story while using their instruments.

Exploring Singing: Local musicians Rosie & Biff teach the folk song “I Love the Mountains,” and explore singing it in a round.

Exploring Drum Making: Join Miss Paige and Liberty to make a drum out of household items, experiment making sounds with it, and drum while reading a storybook.
