The corona virus continues to be problematic and impacts Boise Music Week’s ability to continue our century old tradition.  This year we will have only virtual performances.  Though still in planning stages, the following are expected to be viewed from Boise Music Week’s website from 2 May through 15 May 2021.

All That’s Jazz!

BMW’s All That’s Jazz! will come into the comfort of your home via virtual stage performance at The Sapphire Club; Boise’s home to live jazz performance. Our engaging performers are Synergy Jazz and the Madeleine Vandal Quintet. With songs from The Great American Songbook, your heart will be touched, your mind will be engaged, and your toes will be tapping!

Community Church Worship

This event will feature Dr. Del Parkinson; Cloverdale Church of God Worship Team; The Campanile Bell Choir; and a piano and violin duet by Kelsey Webb and Katie Clark. Tune in, and find yourself uplifted.

Children’s Music Workshops

Boise Music Week Children’s Music: Exploring Music 2021: A series of music adventures inviting families and their young musicians to explore and experiment with music, including singing, percussion instrument exploration, drum making, and classical music.

Organ Recital Concerts

We will have one performance from St.Michael’s Organ with Laura Toland on the keys.  Tom Harris and Robert Schmidt will play from the Cathedral of the Rockies organ.  We will also have a performance on the Holy Trinity Church organ in Stratford-upon-Avon, England (home of Shakespeare) with organist, Douglas Keilitz.

Variety Show “Boise’s Finest”

BMW hopes to include virtual performances from a wide array of Boise’s finest talent all in one event. “Boise’s Finest” – a variety show like no other.  It will include performers who were scheduled to perform in 2020 as well as newly discovered talent from the greater Boise area.
