BMW is Proud to Present Meredith Willson’s
The Music Man
When Harold Hill, a traveling con man, arrives in River City, he convinces the locals to start a band by purchasing the uniforms and instruments from him. His intention is to flee as soon as he receives the money. Librarian Marian Paroo suspects Harold is a fraud, but holds her tongue since her moody brother, Winthrop, is excited about the band. As Harold begins to develop feelings for Marian, he faces a difficult decision about skipping town.
Rehearsals are in full swing for this cast which numbers 70+! singers and dancers from age 7 to 82. The outstanding local talent will WOW the audiences! The 2 leading characters, Adam Watkins as Harold Hill, and Stephanie Christensen as Marian Paroo promise to bring performances to the Morrison Center stage that will make Meredith Willson proud. All the cast is working to bring their best to you in May. We are proud to be able to present THE MUSIC MAN on the Morrison Center Stage. Thanks to the Morrison Center Endowment Foundation. This is a show you’ll not want to miss!
