Welcome to our 2024 musical for Music Week: Cinderella, Broadway Version.
Such a great story, a little different from the one we all know and love, but with the same great music.
As a child I was always singing, and then I started piano. From piano I went to clarinet and then percussion. I received a degree in Music Education, and a Masters’ Degree in Performance. I taught elementary music for 35 years, and played with the Boise Phil for 33 years. I developed a love for Broadway Musicals when I was in Junior High, and it has continued. I love directing the orchestra, and being involved with putting the musical on stage.
Besides directing the musical, I also direct the community group “Capital City Mulligan Band,” and also involved in Meridian Symphony and Treasure Valley Concert Band. My parents were a great support. They made sure that I had my private lessons, and had rides to get to extra-curricular rehearsals. I miss them, but I know that they are with me, supporting me.
