Not a ticketed event: Seating is first come first served

Parking:

The Egyptian Theater is in the center of the premium parking area of downtown Boise. Street parking is $5 for 2 hours. Parking garages may be full at times but the first hour is free and the second is $2.50. We suggest the use of the parking garage @ 770 W Main St. (just West of the theater). Main Street is one way so you’ll reach the parking entrance before you reach the theater.

Egyptian Theatre Organ and Silent Movie Concert

A blast from the past, right here in Boise! Come and enjoy the magic and fun of the silent movie. This year, The Egyptian Theatre is proud to present:

One Week 1920 starring Buster Keaton

A newlywed couple receive a kit house as a wedding gift. The instructions describe how to construct the house by assembling materials in numbered packing crates. A rejected suitor secretly renumbers packing crates, and the result is a lopsided structure with revolving walls, kitchen fixtures on the exterior, and upper-floor doors that open onto thin air. During a housewarming party on Friday the 13th, a storm spins the house and its occupants around like a merry-go-round.

Chasing Choo Choos1927 starring Monty Banks

Heiress Virginia Craig is in love with Monty, a working man. The men who are managing Virginia’s affairs are determined to break up the relationship, out of fear that they will lose control of her estate when she comes of age. As part of their plan, they hire a gang of thugs to stage an assault on Virginia, and then blame it on Monty. Virginia refuses to believe the accusation, and she turns to Monty for protection, leading to a chaotic and hazardous chase.
