Arthur Murray Dance Center Since 1912, Arthur Murray has been teaching the world to dance whether your goal is to become a good social dancer or to compete on the dance floor. Boise Arthur Murray is an excellent place to learn the most popular dances. Presenting some of these popular dances are Cody and Heidi.
Boise Highlanders – Scottish Dancers – are members of the Pipes, Drums, and Dancers of the Boise Highlanders, established in 1961 and are one of the oldest bagpipe bands in the northwest. They are currently comprised of individuals with a wide age range who are passionate about dance and Scottish heritage and history, as well as the point where the two intersect. They welcome anyone who loves to dance and explore the history and culture of Scotland through this time-honored art form. The dancers practice every Friday.
The Boise Traditional Chinese Dance was founded in 2004. The program has shared and preserved the rich culture of the people including ethnic minority Chinese through classes and performances. They aim to educate and connect the Treasure Valley community through dance. They continue to independently train and nurture new generations of dancers and instructors throughout the years. We are pleased to be performing with Boise Music Week again this year.
Sidonia & Raks Al Dunia & The Beli Danse Academie is a sisterhood of performers. Their blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dance translates the traditional into a modern tribal experience Formed by Sidonia Om Dunia, she has created a classic style with a contemporary twist.
Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo is a traditional Mexican folk-dance company from Boise, Idaho. The group was formed in 2033 and celebrated 21 years in March 2024. They have performed in and around the Treasure Valley and are always accepting new dancers.
Hot Hula fitness is a total body workout available for all ages and fitness levels. Polynesian dance workouts take you through the South Pacific, using low impact workouts only available at the YMCA.

Killarney Irish Dancers Company is the premier Irish dance studio of Boise and is certified by Ireland’s An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha. We welcome students of all ages and levels to learn and love the tradition of Irish dance. The Killarney dancers are encouraged to work hard to achieve personal and team goals, and to build the poise, confidence, and self-esteem that they’ll use throughout their lives, in and out of the studio.
The dancers have performed with recording artists including the Chieftains, Gaelic Storm and Natalie McMasters. They share their talents with the Community by performing at school events, nursing homes and festivals. In just 14 years, our dancers have achieved great success in the competitive arena including top 3 in Regional and National Championships in solo and team dances. Additionally, we have dancers qualifying for the North American Irish Dance Championships and the World Irish Dance Championships in Ireland.
The Wat Traditional Lao Dance Group has been together since 2017. We are annual performers at our local Buddhist Temple, Wat idahophoxaiyaraam in Nampa. It is our tradition to perform these dances during our Lao New Year festivities. These dances and songs have been created from many years of traditional dances in Laos. Please enjoy our showing of our beautiful culture.
Susie’s Tap & Jazz Etc. was established in 1978 in Norther Idaho and are now located in Boise. They believe dance should be affordable and emphasize on the concept that “Dance is Fun”! We are excited to be performing in Boise Music Week’s Dance Night again.
The StarBelly Student Troupe is a diverse ensemble of women and men, uniting in their passion for dance. With dancers of all ages, body types, and backgrounds, they surrender to the art form, striving to be their best selves both on and off the stage. Based in Boise, and under the direction of Cecilia Rinn, the troupe has captivated audiences for over a decade, performing at local events, festivals, care centers, and private parties, representing the top students at the esteemed StarBelly School of Dance.
West Boise YMCA Line Dance Class – The class is a long time favorite at the Y. Current teachers Julianne and Donna have been teaching since 2020. The group is certainly not professional – just a group of gals having a good time dancing. (Occasionally, we have a male or two join us ????) The ability level ranges from beginner to advanced. We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Maharlika Performing Arts (MPA) of Idaho are volunteer performers promoting Philippine culture.
Boise Music Week Dance Night Dancers are four talented tap dancers from Backstage Dancer Center who will lead you through this evening of dance. They were formed in January 2022.

Borah’s auditorium is a separate building on the west end of the Borah High’s campus behind the tennis courts. The main entrance is on the north side of the building facing the tennis courts. Parking is available in front of Borah High and between the main campus and the auditorium.
